Salary: £350.00 – £450.00 P/W
The Challenge:
Are you looking for an opportunity to get involved in machine control systems? As a Digital Agriculture Junior Support engineer you will have
the opportunity to come up with solutions of controlling machines on the cutting edge of vehicle technology and agriculture. We are looking for
an engineer with basic skills to support hardware on agricultural vehicles, implements and infrastructure for controlling vehicle steering and
implement application systems.
The role initially will be working with our RTK network, going to site and setting up new users on a range of tractors, harvesters and crop
sprayers as well as assisting installing reference stations. We need an engineer keen to learn new tools and techniques and a willingness to
travel throughout the UK. With an understanding of farm machinery, you will use your skills to set up machines on our network. Your great
interpersonal skills will also assist you when dealing with customers as well as troubleshooting on the telephone. Training and support for
yourself will be available upfront and on demand.

You Have:
• Experience with farm machinery / Large vehicle operation
• A Willingness to learn
• Good time keeping
• Excellent communication skills
• A firm understanding of I.T and you will be competent with a laptop, Windows and MS Office
• Experience with hand tools
• A good manner with people, patience, and a good sense of humour.
• Clean Full UK Driving License
Nice If You Have:
• Experience in GNSS systems as well as GNSS correction and RTK
• Experience in ISOBUS
• Experience with precision agriculture machine control systems
• An understanding of computer programming
• An understanding of agriculture/farming systems
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• Qualification in automotive technology, agricultural engineering, electronics, or related field
